Position Overview: AG&P LNG is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager of Corporate Development to join our dynamic team. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our growth initiatives, particularly in the financial development of LNG terminals and the expansion of our operations. This role will involve leading M&A activities, investment decisions, and financial analysis to support the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Strategy and Financial Analysis:
- Lead the development and execution of investment strategies, including the identification and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities, capital investments, and joint ventures.
- Conduct rigorous financial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis to support investment decisions and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
2. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Oversee the entire M&A process, including deal origination, due diligence, negotiations, and post-merger integration.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions and realization of synergies.
3. Financial Planning and Reporting:
- Manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, to support corporate development initiatives.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and the board of directors.
4. Market and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the LNG sector.
- Develop strategic insights and financial scenarios to inform corporate decision-making and long-term planning.
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
- Communicate complex financial concepts and strategies clearly and effectively to senior executives and board members.
6. Project Management and Support:
- Provide financial oversight and strategic input for major projects, including LNG terminal developments and downstream/midstream initiatives.
- Ensure that project financials are aligned with corporate goals, and track performance against key metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or a similar strategic role, with a strong background in the LNG industry, particularly in terminal development and downstream/midstream operations.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
- Proven track record in leading and executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the LNG industry, global energy markets, and regulatory environments.
